About us

My photo
Thank you Mike and Janet Huckabee for all your prayers, encouragement, hard work, and commitment to unify and make our country the strongest, safest, best place to live and raise our families! We pray GOD's richest blessings upon you! Please join with us in keeping a prayer focus for Mike & Janet Huckabee and the direction he will go in. Also, let's join Mike as he reads a chapter of Proverbs for each day. (Jan. 30 would be Proverbs 30). I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone; for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Thanks for praying!

Point to ponder by Randy Davis

Point to ponder by Randy Davis

"Determination is looking at insurmountable obstacles as opportunities to allow God's supernatural intervention. When God is about to do something great, He starts with a difficulty. When He is about to do something truly magnificent, He starts with an impossibility. Reaching a goal requires more than skill it requires determination. This means rejecting distractions like discouragement and doubt."— Randy Davis

Important Prayer Focus

We declare GOD's plans and purposes in the earth, and that all things in the United States be accomplished through GOD's Spirit. We pray that every hindrance or obstacle that would attempt to prevent GOD's will from being accomplished be removed! We pray for continued revelation of truth and the exposure of falsehoods.

We pray that America can regain honor, integrity and truth of character in it's leadership and therefore become once again the Shining City on a Hill, who is once again Freedom's greatest hope. We turn to the LORD GOD for our rescue and our salvation, our wisdom, direction, protection and provision.

We pray that GOD anoints and empowers Mike Huckabee as He did King David of Israel, that no weapon formed against him will succeed. We pray that GOD prepares the weapons of Mike's warfare in the same way that GOD prepared five smooth stones for the shepherd boy David. We pray that when Mike goes out to lead a Gideon’s army of the living GOD in the name of the LORD ALMIGHTY that he arises victorious in his spiritual battles.

As David's sling slew Goliath, we pray that Mike triumphs over his adversaries, spiritual and political, so that all will know that it is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the LORD of Hosts. We praise GOD that He has placed Mike Huckabee in this nation as an ambassador of CHRIST's love and hope.

We lift Governor Huckabee and his family up to our LORD GOD for wisdom in decision making. We pray that the HOLY SPIRIT would give Mike clarity in communication. We pray for Gov. Huckabee, that he would always hear clearly the direction that the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY would have him follow. We pray that abundant provision would flow through to Governor Huckabee in cash, staff & volunteers, as well as positive media coverage.

We pray blessings upon Janet Huckabee. We praise GOD for her sacrifice and support of Mike as he gives his time working to make our country the best it can be. We pray that Mike's personal finances will multiply and that he has provision to meet all needs for himself and his family. We pray special peace, comfort, strength, and protection upon her, their family, pets and home.

Thank You LORD for travel mercies, safety, and protection for Mike and his family as he travels around our nation to speak, encourage, and enlist others to support solid conservative candidates and issues.

False Reports cirulating about whether or not Huckabee is running in 2012!

What The Huckabee Is Happening In SC?

mike huckabee

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee allegedly told his South Carolina consultants that he wasn’t going to run for president in 2012 … or at least that’s what a Palmetto Republican blogger reported on Wednesday.

Of course what could have erupted into a national news story may very well turn out to be the first example of South Carolina’s notoriously dirty political process.

The drama began when the website Process Story ran a banner headline Wednesday afternoon boldly declaring that “Huckabee won’t run.”

If true, this would have obviously been a major bombshell in 2012 Republican presidential primary – and a huge national news story. There’s just one problem … the report is false. In fact, mere moments after the original story was posted, an updated version of the article appeared with a new headline, “Huckabee releasing S.C. team.”

Here’s a screen cap that shows this update, although you can clearly see the original title of the story in the hyperlink …

Process Story‘s hastily-rechristened article also removed any reference to Huckabee supporters claiming that their boss had told them he was dropping out of the race, but it did allege that Huckabee was “giving his former SC supporters the nod to seek work on other presidential campaigns.”

According to Hogan Gidley, the executive director of Huckabee’s national political action committee, both reports are totally inaccurate.

Reached by phone on Wednesday afternoon, Gidley told FITS that rumors about Huckabee pulling out of the race were “cateogrically false.” He then added that there was “absolutely zero truth” to reports that Huckabee was releasing his South Carolina team.

“Gov. Huckabee has been pretty clear that he is seriously considering (a 2012 campaign) and that he will make a decision sometime this summer,” Gidley said. “That is consistent with what he has said for months.”

The rumor about Huckabee comes a day after a new Winthrop University poll showed him leading the GOP field in South Carolina – a state he nearly won in 2008.

So … what prompted this particular website to make such a claim?

For those of you unfamiliar with the incestuous world of Palmetto politics, Process Story is run by Wesley Donehue, a paid consultant to the S.C. Republican Party, the S.C. Senate Republican Caucus and several other “GOP” politicians (including U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson). A veteran dirty trickster, Donehue is no stranger to initiating controversy. In 2008, he was busted running a website that bashed former U.S. Senator Fred Thompson while he was working for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

A year ago, Donehue was at the center of the Will Folks-Nikki Haley sex scandal, sending numerous text messages to our founding editor in the days leading up to his shocking revelation intimating that he had the power to kill – or advance – the story in the mainstream media. Donehue later claimed that he had no direct knowledge of an affair between Folks and Haley.

Sources tell FITS that Donehue – who was originally planning to work for former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour’s aborted bid – is currently working for former U.S. Speaker Newt Gingrich, although those reports are unconfirmed.

Donehue tells FITS he isn’t working for Gingrich or any other presidential candidate at this point.

“At this point I don’t know if I will work for anybody,” Donehue said. “Nobody floats my boat right now. I was definitely leaning toward (Haley) Barbour but now I’m not sure who I will support.”

Donehue also stood by his original report – and the updated version of the story – saying he was merely reporting on what sources told him.

“Governor Huckabee is the front-run

ner – so we expect a certain level of unfounded rumors lobbed our way, but this one is just odd,” Gidley said. “I’m not sure why Wes put out that story – or what source he is quoting – but it’s simply not true.”
