About us

My photo
Thank you Mike and Janet Huckabee for all your prayers, encouragement, hard work, and commitment to unify and make our country the strongest, safest, best place to live and raise our families! We pray GOD's richest blessings upon you! Please join with us in keeping a prayer focus for Mike & Janet Huckabee and the direction he will go in. Also, let's join Mike as he reads a chapter of Proverbs for each day. (Jan. 30 would be Proverbs 30). I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone; for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Thanks for praying!

Point to ponder by Randy Davis

Point to ponder by Randy Davis

"Determination is looking at insurmountable obstacles as opportunities to allow God's supernatural intervention. When God is about to do something great, He starts with a difficulty. When He is about to do something truly magnificent, He starts with an impossibility. Reaching a goal requires more than skill it requires determination. This means rejecting distractions like discouragement and doubt."— Randy Davis

Important Prayer Focus

We declare GOD's plans and purposes in the earth, and that all things in the United States be accomplished through GOD's Spirit. We pray that every hindrance or obstacle that would attempt to prevent GOD's will from being accomplished be removed! We pray for continued revelation of truth and the exposure of falsehoods.

We pray that America can regain honor, integrity and truth of character in it's leadership and therefore become once again the Shining City on a Hill, who is once again Freedom's greatest hope. We turn to the LORD GOD for our rescue and our salvation, our wisdom, direction, protection and provision.

We pray that GOD anoints and empowers Mike Huckabee as He did King David of Israel, that no weapon formed against him will succeed. We pray that GOD prepares the weapons of Mike's warfare in the same way that GOD prepared five smooth stones for the shepherd boy David. We pray that when Mike goes out to lead a Gideon’s army of the living GOD in the name of the LORD ALMIGHTY that he arises victorious in his spiritual battles.

As David's sling slew Goliath, we pray that Mike triumphs over his adversaries, spiritual and political, so that all will know that it is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the LORD of Hosts. We praise GOD that He has placed Mike Huckabee in this nation as an ambassador of CHRIST's love and hope.

We lift Governor Huckabee and his family up to our LORD GOD for wisdom in decision making. We pray that the HOLY SPIRIT would give Mike clarity in communication. We pray for Gov. Huckabee, that he would always hear clearly the direction that the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY would have him follow. We pray that abundant provision would flow through to Governor Huckabee in cash, staff & volunteers, as well as positive media coverage.

We pray blessings upon Janet Huckabee. We praise GOD for her sacrifice and support of Mike as he gives his time working to make our country the best it can be. We pray that Mike's personal finances will multiply and that he has provision to meet all needs for himself and his family. We pray special peace, comfort, strength, and protection upon her, their family, pets and home.

Thank You LORD for travel mercies, safety, and protection for Mike and his family as he travels around our nation to speak, encourage, and enlist others to support solid conservative candidates and issues.

Huck Prayer Warriors a source of strength and encouragement for Governor Huckabee

Thanks Huck Prayer Warriors for your prayers for Governor Huckabee. His show "Huckabee" on FOX News Channel, continues to be a source of great insight, encouragement and enlightenment.

The confusion of where any given GOP candidate stands on issues of great importance, such as Life, marriage, the FairTax, Israel and foreign policy, and economic reform here at home and what solutions they have to solve problems in these areas is causing an unprecedented amount of indecision in the minds and hearts of voters and no one candidate has yet to get a real foothold in early primary and caucus states.

Voters are just as disgusted as Governor Huckabee is about the "lack of serious attention to how to solve America's real problems, while the focus is placed on the rather absurd colonoscopy that is being performed on candidates by other candidates and the media; most of whom speak with great authority but have never actually left the comfort of the press box and come off the field muddy & bloody and not personally engaging in the game." He said "that this is a country where we elect servants, not princes to power." Sadly, we don't see much in the way of servanthood in these candidates right now. They seem more interested in beating the stuffing out of the each other and leaving it strewn all over like the straw man in the Wizard of Oz. What would clinch it for all of them is being clear on where do they stand and what has been their actions on the important issues. As Governor Huckabee said, "the press focuses on the conflict, rather than the problem."

Thanks for your continued and faithful prayers as the election process goes forward to toward 2012. Pray that the GOP nominee would have strong convictions, experience, unwavering moral character, hard work ethics, personal responsibility, and the determination to do the right thing for each circumstance that comes along.

Please join us for nationwide Huck Prayer Teleconference Monday October 31 9PM ET 8PM CT 7 PM MT 6 PM PT 5 PM AKT If you would like to participate in the teleconference please message me, reply to this post or email me for the phone number and access code. No one else can go the distance

C'mon Gov Huckabee, no one else can go the distance. All the other candidates stumble when they just get out of the gates. And Romney may have ran a lap or two, but the only ones placing bets on him are those on intrade—NOT THE VOTERS. You have a track record that can win the White House. Is your heart now telling you GO?! We are with you all the way!

In answer to you question on your show: YES it's OK to tell a joke! GOD gave you one of the best senses of humor I know of and I get immense pleasure from it every week! Keep it up.

Your sense of humor is one of the reasons I think you would make one of the best presidents this country has ever had; better than Reagan; and he is another who had a great sense of humor. GOD sure does know how to create us doesn't He!
This is why humor is so important: Sometimes it helps us to understand difficult and very serious problems and situations in a way that we might not have been able too before, and if used correctly, still maintains the validity and importance of the situation or problem.
Governor Huckabee, you would have to be blind and deaf not to have seen and heard the impassioned plea from your supporters across the nation. Even liberals are asking the same question: Won't you PLEASE prayerfully consider getting into this race for 2012? I know you are listening and being obedient to our LORD GOD, so I hope it is His plan to direct you into the race according to His will and plan. We pray for you without ceasing, fervently. Please pray for your supporters that we would know what to pray so that we don't pray against His plan for you! May GOD grace you with His wisdom, power and direction and abundance in every good thing! Love & Prayers!

Currently there is definitely a heightened need for corporate prayer on many fronts. Please join us as we pray for Governor ...Huckabee. During this call we will beseeching the LORD for peace and direction for the 2012 presidential race and for direction and confirmation as to whether or not GOD would have us encourage Governor Huckabee to enter the race in time to run in the early states, especially New Hampshire. We are praying for GOD's direction for us and Governor Huckabee. We pray that we would have GOD's desires attitudes and direction. The LORD said, "When you commit your life to Me, I will give you the desires of My heart." Many of us earnestly hope that we would have Governor Huckabee, an Ambassador of CHRIST as the president of the United States in 2012. Therefore, We are praying if GOD wills it, that He would open the door and direct him to get into this race for 2012! During this call please refrain from mentioning any other candidates for the presidential race by name, as the purpose of this call is to focus on Governor Huckabee.

GOD never gives us anything but IMPOSSIBLE tasks because then we have to depend on Him to accomplish them!!
When we put CHRIST in it the word IMPOSSIBLE it becomes I M POSSIBLE!
I can do all things through CHRIST who strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

We need someone who will fight to protect the GOD-given rights of every human being

We do not need a leader who is "personally prolife" we need one who will fight to protect the GOD-given rights of every human being (as stated in our Declaration). It is NOT a states rights decision. In this election cycle, so far, there isn't an unequivocally pro-life candidate in the GOP race yet. But the quotes below show what kind of leader America needs in 2012:

"Slavery is a moral issue. That's why I define the whole issue of the sanctity of life and marriage not in political terms but in moral terms. If it's a political issue, then it is perfectly legitimate to have 50 different versions."

"This is an issue that is a cornerstone issue of our culture because if we get it wrong; if we somehow ever come to the place where we believe that some lives are worth more than others; that some lives have more value than others; that some people are elevated in worth greater than others, then we will have failed; miserably failed. It is the depth of our commitment to saying that however long it takes, however many years that we must come together, we will continue to stand and we will continue to make our voices heard...this issue is not settled until we have a human life amendment to the Constitution of the United States!

There cannot be a geographical distinction when it comes down to something that is either right or wrong. Abraham Lincoln said over a hundred years ago that if slavery is not wrong, nothing is wrong. It would be fair to say that if abortion is not wrong than nothing is wrong. And Ladies and Gentleman, let us settle it today, it is wrong to take the life of an unborn child.

There are those who want to redefine what life means. There are those who want to say that everybody can have his own definition of when life begins and when life is worth living. But I hope as a society and as a culture that we will decide in this nation that we are a culture of life and not a culture of death. For the same reason that we think it's wrong for a parent to strap a bomb to the belly of his own child and blow up the child for his cause, what makes us think that it is OK to expend the life of our children because they might represent an inconvenience to us or an interruption or interference in our lives?

I hope that the day will come when we no longer bring ourselves to a march for the purpose of hoping what we can do but I hope that one day, January 22, will be a day that we will gather so that we can celebrate what we have done to elevate human life; to elevate our culture and to elevate our nation to it's highest and not it's lowest standards of respecting each other as all of us are equal. GOD bless you today for coming out and taking a stand for life."

"Pro-life isn't just a political statement. It goes to the very root and core of who we are and what we think about life. And the core is that we value it."

"The unique part of our country is that we elevate and we celebrate human life."

"Life is really precious, life is God's creation. We don't have a right to interrupt a process He has started."

"Inside every human being there are treasures to unlock."

"You have no idea how many millions of dollars will likely be poured into your state...hardcore political money that is designed to preserve the abortion industry which is a multi million dollar industry specifically designed in order to terminate life and make people rich. This is not about elevating women. This is about elevating wealth on behalf of those who profit from the sale of death.

"It's not about left and right," Huckabee said. "It's about right and wrong."—Mike Huckabee talking about abortion is not about politics or parties.

"I believe the sanctity of a human life is rooted in who we are as a culture and as a civilization. And should we turn our back on this fundamental truth, we have turned our back on the very essence and foundation of who we are as a people."

"For me this is an issue that - as I've said before - it transcends all of the political issues. I've often said I would gladly lose an election before I would ever yield on the issue of the sanctity of human life."

"As a governor I've signed virtually every kind of pro-life legislation that we can sign under existing federal law."

"The American People aren't so much interested in a demolition derby with the other members of the party. There are some real issues that we need to be fighting for and one of them is the sanctity of life."

"However long it takes, however many years that we must come together, we will continue to stand and we will continue to make our voices heard...this issue is not settled until we have a human life amendment to the Constitution of the United States!"

"Can you let the tragedy of abortion go unchecked while we get our financial house in order? I can't. I will not!" — Mike Huckabee

It doesn't take a majority to prevail... rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.— S.Adams

Facts can be slippery things, but Americans are too smart for DC to change them to suit a political agenda

October 06, 2011 - 05:14 PM

Sometimes Facts Are Slippery Things

The President is in campaign mode again. He is traveling around the country campaigning and using the most important issue confronting us as a nation as a weapon to attack Republicans. His latest tactic was to have his campaign send out an email asking his supporters to insist that Congress vote on his jobs bill.

Maybe someone just wasn't paying attention to what is happening on Capitol Hill, but the fact is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is the person blocking a vote on the President's Jobs Bill. In fact, this week Senator Mitch McConnell, the Republican Leader in the Senate said the President deserves a vote on his jobs bill, so let's vote on it right now. Harry Reid called it a political stunt, and said no.

Now the President says the Senate will vote on his jobs bill next week. But the bill that Harry Reid says they are going to vote on is one calling for a 5% surtax on millionaires, not the President's bill. That may seem like something that most Americans would favor, but the truth is most Americans don't favor increasing taxes on anyone during this economic crisis.

The President would like to paint this as a situation where Republicans are against what the majority of Americans want. That's simply not true. Most of us recognize that the American dream is still alive, and each person has a chance, with hard work and innovation, to achieve that dream. We also know that we won't achieve that dream by coveting what our neighbors have accomplished.

Candidate Obama needs to get back to Washington, act as the President and get to work with leaders in Congress to really put the facts out there for the American people to make up their own minds.

Facts can be slippery things, but trying to change them to suit a political agenda never works. Americans are too smart for that.

"Perhaps Now is the Time"

by Randy Davis on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 10:45pm

I would favor Governor Mike Huckabee by a mile over anyone else in the GOP race. I hear from people all over the nation hoping he will reconsider getting back in. When he said "my heart says no" he clearly stipulated...."for now."
...
He is in a class of his own and would be the immediate adult on the debate stage with more experience, wisdom, and class than everyone else combined. His communication skills would even be envied by Ronald Reagan.

He also has the uncanny ability to communicate the conservative message without being obstinate and polarizing. He would garner votes from Independents, women, and minorities like no other conservative. And yes, he would beat Obama and he would beat him badly- like "in the landslide of the century."

Still—this is a decision for him to make. I know of no evidence that he IS re-considering, but with the clock running out— I can understand supporters wondering what he may now be thinking, especially since he implied he would perhaps be open to taking another look at the field in "the fall" to see if there was a clear frontrunner and/or if there was a strong candidate to carry the fiscal and social conservative message all the way to the White House. There isn't. Instead there is a gaping hole the size of the Grand Canyon on steroids, especially with the definitive "no" by Chris Christie. [AW:adding the Palin no as well]

He has downplayed the rumors he was "reconsidering"- but still did not categorically say "no." If the GOP leadership wants an epic landslide in 2012, perhaps now is the time to set up camp on his doorstep.

A prayer, exhortation and encouragement for Governor Huckabee

"The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything."— Albert Einstein

Will GOD redirect you Governor Huckabee? I don't know but I am convinced that the amount of people praying for you Governor Huckabee and the depth of agreement on the hope that you would make the choice to enter the 2012 race was from the LORD GOD to our spirits.

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader."—John Q. Adams

Governor Huckabee, you have inspired us to go and be the somebodies and do the somethings.

You encouraged us by example to seek out revelation and direction: "I have long depended on Scripture not only as a refuge but also for direction. Since I was 18 I've read a chapter in Proverbs every morning, getting through the whole book each month. For me, that's a source of daily inspiration and guidance. I really believe most good, sound management decisions can be gleaned from the principles you'll find in the book of Proverbs.”

You admonished us, "These are the days of Elijah! How long will we falter? We've got to say we are going to live our lives as unto to the LORD! These are the days of Elijah!"

You have taught us that character makes a difference. "Character is the issue, and your character makes the difference every day—in the work you do, the candidates you vote for, the people who look to you for leadership. My hope is... that you will live your faith proudly and support and uplift fellow Christians as we work together to build GOD’s kingdom."

You instilled in us "that doing the right thing is precisely what America must doing order to achieve the goals that conservatives (actually everyone) want—lower taxes, less government, safer streets and neighborhoods, prosperous businesses, good jobs, good schools, access to affordable health care, secure borders, strong marriages and families, growing productivity, and personal liberties." You exhorted us with "My hope and prayer is that you'll commit to doing your part to change America's future by deciding that whatever others choose to do, you will Do the Right Thing."

You gave us the true meaning of the small but powerfully inspiring word "hope," pointing out that progress for our country cannot
happen with the continued bipartisan rift dividing it.

You highlighted for us 12 “Stops” to restoring America’s greatness. The stops refer to things that we must stop doing; stop “being cynical,” stop “abusing our planet,” stop “robbing the taxpayers,” stop “the heat and turn on the light for hot issues,” stop “the loss of America’s prestige at home and abroad,” and–my favorite–stop “being a selfish citizen,” and offered “12 Action Steps” that set specific standards we ought to hold our political leaders accountable to and specific principles by which we ought to be governed.

You tapped into the fundamental core of every American, confronting matters closest at hand with the call for a critical change in perspective and a clear plan of action that shows what we can become as a truly indivisible nation.

You told us about Twelve Things We really need from Washington (and a Trillion we Don't). You have us nodding in agreement with these twelve essential truths, whether we were Republican, an Independent, or an open-minded Democrat. "We need a simple government. Don't get me wrong; I know that many of the nation's problems are highly complex. But I also know the governing principles that can solve them, if we work together, are simple."

You showed us that "The kind of leader we will be, is tied directly to what kind of follower we were for those who blazed the trail before us. Someone is likely following in our footsteps in the same way, we're following others. One of the reasons we're commanded to congregate in mutual fellowship is so we can gain strength from those with whom we fly. They in turn can gain strength from us. When we are weary and lag behind, the encouragement of others becomes like the honking of the geese, cheering us on toward the next step, the next day, the next challenge."

You interceded for us, "I pray that GOD will raise up spiritual leaders who will not let this nation fall. Not a partisan battle, but a battle against good & evil. There are things that are right and things that are wrong. There are some things that are Holy."

You can help "us put aside our differences, tone down the partisan rancor, and return to the simple principles of the Founding Fathers: liberty, justice, personal freedom, and civic virtue." And you "can help us tackle even the most seemingly complicated of today's problems."

GOD has used you to teach, inspire, encourage, and empower us to go the extra mile, dream the impossible and lift others up to reach for the stars. To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Is this the season GOD is calling you to lead us by running for president 2012? What, then, shall we say in response to this? If GOD is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

By the way, I learned most of this from these books:
Character Makes a Difference
Living Beyond Your Lifetime: How to be intentional about the Legacy You Leave
From Hope to Higher Ground
Do the Right Thing
A Simple Government

Romans 8:31
